Hurds Family Farm, Modena

About Hurds Family Farm

Hurds Family Farm is a 125-acre apple orchard where visitors pick their own apples and pumpkins, particularly during fall. The farm offers outdoor activities including hayrides around the orchard, a corn maze with integrated games, a bounce pillow, a giant slide, an obstacle course, a mini-zipline, a cow train, and a bin train. Visitors can feed farm animals and fish in the Japanese koi pond seasonally, hike forest trails, or take guided golf cart adventure tours through pollinator fields and wildlife areas. The farm's Big Apple Café serves food made with local ingredients, while the Bar in the Barn offers handcrafted cocktails, local beers, and apple cider with Hudson Valley views. The farm market stocks pre-picked apples and other products. A kids' coral playground area and rubber duck races round out the offerings. School groups visit for spring planting and fall harvest field trips, while private site rentals accommodate corporate team-building and group outings. Hurds Family Farm is located in Modena, New York.
