About Hickory Creek Farm
Hickory Creek Farm is a Christmas tree farm in Greensboro where visitors select and cut their own trees from the property. The farm grows Cedar, Cypress, and Pine trees up to ten feet tall on-site, while also offering pre-cut Fraser Firs harvested from their own farm in Ashe County, with sizes ranging from tabletop to fifteen feet. Visitors use a hand saw provided by the farm to cut their chosen tree. The farm also sells handmade wreaths and garland crafted on-site, along with poinsettias and Christmas cactus available in Frosty's Greenhouse. Seasonal activities include visiting baby goats dressed in Christmas sweaters and taking photographs with Santa and Mrs. Claus on scheduled dates. Professional photography sessions are available for family portraits on the farm during the season. General admission is free. The farm, established in 1913, welcomes leashed dogs and accepts major credit cards and cash.
