About Greensboro Ice House
Greensboro Ice House is an indoor ice skating rink near the Wendover Avenue exit off I-40 where visitors can skate during public sessions scheduled Friday through Sunday. The facility offers Learn to Skate classes for beginners alongside figure skating programs and youth and adult hockey leagues. Visitors can also participate in broomball, attend birthday parties in dedicated party rooms, or book private rentals of the ice. The rink is equipped with rental skates, four locker rooms with showers, a women's locker room, rinkside party booths, a mezzanine viewing area, and a pro shop offering skate sharpening services. The venue hosts the Greensboro Youth Hockey Association, which runs learn-to-play hockey and house leagues, as well as the Summit Figure Skating Club. Day camps and group outings are available for those seeking structured skating experiences.
