About Glass City River Wall

The Glass City River Wall is a massive mural spanning 28 silos across 170,000 square feet on the east bank of the Maumee River in Toledo. Visitors view the largest mural in North America, which depicts portraits of Native American women and children by artist Gabe Gault. The artwork honors the region's first agriculturalists who cultivated cornfields along the river thousands of years ago. The mural blends traditional jewelry with contemporary clothing, symbolizing the connection between past and present.
