About Gallery 202
Gallery 202 is a diverse art gallery in downtown Franklin's Art and Antiques District where visitors browse and collect paintings, antiques, glass, jewelry, pottery, and sculpture from local, regional, and national artists. The gallery occupies Clouston Hall, a Federal Style home built circa 1821 that was designed by Joseph Reiff for Edward G. Clouston. The restored historic building features original architectural details, antique windows, and custom wood doors. Gallery 202 regularly hosts artists' receptions where visitors meet the featured artists and enjoy conversation. The gallery also includes a carriage house event space with a kitchen and courtyard. The collection reflects works by artists including Peggy McDonough Gannon, Rebecca Sower, Carol Evans, Chris Smith, and Andrew Madvin. Art lovers and collectors visit to discover exceptional fine art and antiques within this historic Franklin setting. The space serves as a hub where creativity, history, and community come together.
