Firefly Farm is a 26-acre working farm where visitors pick their own flowers during the growing season, strolling through rows of vibrant blooms and leaving with armloads of fresh cut flowers. The farm grows fruits, vegetables, and nuts using sustainable methods and raises pasture-fed hens for fresh eggs. Visitors interact with farm animals including horses, donkeys, goats, and chickens. Activities include farmer-guided tours, self-guided U-pick flower experiences, flower arranging workshops, and seasonal events such as a haunted barn attraction with a pumpkin patch. Guests can bring a picnic and spend time on the grounds, or attend special farm experiences like Fireflies on the Farm. The farm also welcomes artists to paint on site, with the scenery and animals providing inspiration for plein air work. Located in Hillsborough, North Carolina, Firefly Farm suits families, artists, and anyone seeking a hands-on farm experience.
