About Elverhoj Museum of History & Art
Elverhoj Museum of History & Art in the Art Gallery displays rotating exhibitions celebrating Danish and international artists, including works from the William E. Derrenbacher Collection. Visitors explore artifacts and fine art documenting Solvang's history and Danish-American immigrant experience across the museum's galleries. The museum offers activity sheets for children, docent-led discussions, and opportunities to examine the building's distinctive architecture. Families can view still photography and take short smartphone videos for personal use throughout the galleries. A beautiful backyard and gazebo provide spaces to picnic and rest.
