About Delta Flight Museum

The Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta features exhibits and aircraft housed in 1940s hangars on the grounds of Delta Air Lines. Visitors explore the history of Delta and its family airlines through interactive displays and hands-on experiences in two large exhibition spaces. The centerpiece is the 747 Experience, an in-depth exhibition inside the first 747-400 ever built, Delta's Ship 6301, one of the most iconic aircraft ever to fly. The museum's Historic Hangars contain vintage aircraft and artifacts documenting Delta's evolution from a crop-dusting operation to a global airline serving more than 290 destinations across six continents. The facility spans 68,000 square feet and includes a museum store and visitor amenities. Visitors receive a temporary badge upon arrival and can explore restored planes alongside photographs, uniforms, and memorabilia that chronicle aviation history and Delta's role in it.
