About Dauer Museum of Classic Cars

Dauer Museum of Classic Cars showcases over 55 meticulously restored automobiles spanning from 1906 to 2020, including Buicks, Cadillacs, Chryslers, Rolls Royces, Bentleys, and European and Italian models. Visitors explore displays celebrating American industrial innovation and scientific discovery through the decades. Beyond vehicles, the museum features a 1953 Good Humor ice cream truck, a vintage ambulance with working 1970s medical equipment and functional siren, and a replicated 1934 Texaco gasoline station complete with period pumps and products. Additional exhibits include antique television broadcasting equipment, a transmission electron microscope, vintage traffic signals from 1918–1950s Los Angeles, 1930s gas station pumps and accessories, and a full reproduction of a Main Street grocery store with original delivery van. Visitors encounter nostalgic murals, including a Fabulous Fifties scene. The museum, founded by Eddie and Joanne Dauer, opened to the public in 2001 in Sunrise, Florida. Self-guided and VIP tours with reservations are available, with tickets sold online through the museum's website.
