About Cool Apple Orchard

Cool Apple Orchard is a working fruit farm where visitors pick their own apples directly from the trees. The orchard grows Liberty Apples and other varieties across its grounds near Lima. Visitors select a bag size at the barn's front porch, then head into the orchard to harvest apples ready for picking. A map displayed on the barn porch shows which apple varieties are currently ripe and their locations throughout the property. After picking, guests can relax in the shade of the barn's lean-to structure or use the fire pit area to enjoy a picnic with family and friends. The orchard operates from dawn to dusk while apples are available for harvest. Parking is available at the barn, along Sugar Creek Road, and on the west side of the property for easier tree access. Cool Apple Orchard sits on family farmland in Lima, Ohio that has been in operation for over ninety years.
