About Chattanooga Ducks

Chattanooga Ducks offers narrated tours aboard an authentic restored WWII amphibious duck boat that travels both on city streets and the Tennessee River. The tour lasts 60 to 75 minutes and accommodates all ages. Visitors experience downtown Chattanooga and riverfront views from the water while learning about the city's unique history and the river itself. The tour passes Maclellan Island wildlife sanctuary. During the water portion, children have the opportunity to drive the duck boat under captain supervision. The captain, typically a native Chattanoogan, shares entertaining local knowledge about the area's history, the river, and nearby restaurants and attractions. The duck boat departs from Chattanooga and tickets are sold online through the venue's website. This activity combines sightseeing with education in an unconventional vessel that transforms from a land tour to a river cruise.
