About Caladesi Island Ferry Tickets & Information
Caladesi Island Ferry Service provides the only boat access to Caladesi Island State Park, a secluded beach destination voted among the nation's best by Doctor Beach. Visitors board ferries from Honeymoon Island State Park for a scenic 20-minute ride to three miles of pristine white-sand beaches accessible only by water. The island suits families and groups seeking swimming, snorkeling, shelling, sunbathing, and picnics in an uncrowded setting. Ferries depart hourly throughout the year, with increased half-hour departures during peak seasons, and passengers may stay up to four hours depending on ticket purchase time. Visitors can bring beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and other portable items; strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs are permitted, though beach carts are not. Tickets are purchased at the Caladesi Ferry Ticket Office at Honeymoon Island State Park; children aged five and under ride free.
