Boulderdash San Fernando Valley is an indoor climbing gym where visitors climb on various wall surfaces throughout the facility. The gym features climbing walls designed for both bouldering and roped climbing. Visitors select their own routes and work to reach the top of each wall. The facility offers harness rentals, climbing shoe rentals, chalk bags, and belay devices for those who need equipment. New climbers or those returning to the sport can take the Up Rope belay class to learn proper technique before using the roped climbing areas. Visitors ages 13 and older may participate in roped climbing after passing a belay test. The gym also provides free yoga classes for members. A personal belayer can be hired by the half hour or full hour for those who prefer guided instruction. The San Fernando Valley location in Chatsworth is one of three Boulderdash climbing gyms in the region.
