Back to Eden Ranch is a farm in Gilroy where visitors interact with animals during weekday self-guided petting zoo sessions lasting one hour. Guests can feed and pet goats, cows, geese, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and alpacas, plus cats and Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs. The farm offers a guided Farm & Animal Experience where guests enter animal pens and play with animals. Weekend experiences showcase the working ranch. Additional offerings include farmstays, birthday parties, dog and cat boarding, and private tours. The property features a pomegranate orchard for U-pick visits. Animal treats are sold on-site, though visitors may bring baby carrots or cut apple slices. The Chow family established the ranch in 2011 after moving from San Jose, beginning with dogs, chickens, fruit trees, and a vegetable garden before expanding to include African guinea fowl, goats, ducks, cows, geese, bunnies, and alpacas.
