Garza Family Farms is a family-owned apricot orchard where visitors pick fresh fruit directly from the trees during harvest season. The farm has been operating in Gilroy since 1977 and now cultivates approximately 900 California Blenheim apricot trees across ten and a half acres. The U-Pick experience allows guests to harvest their own apricots, with guidelines and waivers provided for participants. Beyond fresh fruit, the farm offers dried apricots, apricot jams, pies, and specialty products like apricot jalapeño jelly and apricot chutney. Educational programming includes Farming for Kids activities that teach visitors about orchard operations. A Harvest Kickoff event marks the beginning of the picking season.
