About Audubon Community Nature Center
Audubon Community Nature Center is a nature preserve in Jamestown, New York where visitors explore a three-story building with interactive displays, live animals including Liberty the non-releasable Bald Eagle, and the Blue Heron Gift Shop. The 600-acre wetland preserve offers more than five miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, with access from dawn to dusk daily. Day camps for children ages 4 to 12 run seasonally, and the center hosts programs including the Enchanted Forest evening walks with talking animals and campfire music. The Nature Center building is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with published admission prices for non-members. SNAP and EBT cardholders receive free admission to the building. Children attending camp benefit from a five-dollar discount for each additional sibling.
