About Alta Boulders and Fitness
Alta Boulders and Fitness in Chandler is an indoor climbing gym where visitors boulder on terrain designed for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. The facility features a Kilter Board, Hang Boards, and Arizona's only bouldering gym with Walltopia's Boulder from the 2018 World Championships. Routes range from VB to V12. Beyond climbing, the gym offers free weights and cardio machines, unlimited yoga classes, group and private fitness classes, and unlimited indoor cycling with 25 bikes available. Visitors can join the Alta Bouldering League, a six-week team competition where climbers of four assemble teams and compete based on handicap-adjusted scores tracked through the KAYA app, with finals and prizes awarded. The facility suits climbers new to the sport through experienced competitors, as well as fitness enthusiasts seeking cross-training. Day passes cost $25, or $20 with membership in the chess club meeting at 6PM on Mondays, according to altaclimbing.com.
