About Zion Historical Society

The Zion Historical Society preserves and shares the heritage of Zion through guided tours of Shiloh House, the historic home of Zion's founder, Dr. John Alexander Dowie. Visitors explore a museum housed within the residence that features a growing collection of artifacts, photographs, and personal belongings of Dr. and Mrs. Dowie. The museum offers a glimpse into the city's past through these curated collections, which continue to expand thanks to donations from community members.
