About Windermere Farms & Apiaries

Windermere Farms & Apiaries is a certified organic farm in Memphis operated by Ken and Freida Lansing since 2003. Visitors can walk the grounds to see the organic growing operation firsthand. The farm grows tomatoes, garlic, green beans, potatoes, swiss chard, squash, cucumbers, cantaloupe, artichokes, purple hull peas, sugar snap peas, watermelon, and blueberries. The operation includes apiaries where bees produce honey and comb honey. A greenhouse, irrigation system using gravity-fed drip lines, and vegetable gardens demonstrate sustainable farming practices. The farm also features a strawberry patch, orchard, and trellis-managed bittersweet plants. Scheduled tours and events are available for groups. Fresh produce is available through online shopping and at the Agricenter Farmers Market on Germantown Road in Memphis.
