Winder Barrow Speedway, known as "The Baja," is a dirt track racing venue established in 1964 where visitors watch competitive racing events featuring fender-rubbing action. The speedway hosts multiple racing classes including Limited Late Model, Hobby 602, Stock V8, Stock 4A and 4B, Modified Street, and Front Wheel Drive divisions. Gates open in the afternoon with a drivers meeting and racing beginning in the evening. The facility offers tiered seating options in the grandstands and trackside areas, as well as pit access for a closer experience. For younger visitors, the speedway provides children's activities including power wheel racing, bike racing, and foot racing. A concession stand serves handmade hamburgers, hotdogs, nachos, and other fare, while vendors sell peanuts, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, and pretzels. Racing events occur on Saturday nights, drawing families interested in traditional Southern dirt track racing. The speedway is located in Winder, Georgia.
