About Willowhaven Park
Willowhaven Park in Kankakee, Illinois is a nature preserve offering hiking trails, fishing, disc golf, and a dog park. Visitors walk over one mile of marked trails through the grounds and cast lines at fishing overlooks stocked with bass, bluegill, and crappie for catch-and-release fishing. A nine-hole disc golf course winds through the park for players of all skill levels. The three-acre dog park accommodates dogs and their owners daily. A playground serves younger visitors, and ponds dot the landscape throughout the property. The Welcoming Center includes a multipurpose room, bathrooms, and a main exhibit hall available for rental events. General admission to the park is free, and the grounds are open from sunrise to sunset every day. The dog park requires membership for access.
