About Wichita Falls Museum of Art

The Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University features five art galleries displaying rotating exhibitions that change two to three times per year. Visitors explore works from the museum's permanent collection, which focuses on drawings and fine art prints by American artists dating back to the 1600s, alongside pieces by regional, state, and national guest artists. The museum operates a community art studio and offers educational programs including lectures, art-making activities, and Art of Seeing Art tours that guide visitors through steps for analyzing and interpreting artwork. The grounds include a gift shop, outdoor sculptures, and access to the Priddy Pavilion overlooking Sikes Lake and its paved walking trail. General admission is free.
