About West Lampeter Community Fair

West Lampeter Community Fair is a three-day agricultural exhibition held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where visitors explore competitive displays of farm produce, baked goods, canned items, and handmade crafts. Farmers and gardeners showcase vegetables, fruits, and plants alongside exhibits in baking, canning, cooking, art, and sewing. The fair features farm animals on display, allowing children to learn about livestock and appreciate quality agricultural products. A Youth Program encourages both boys and girls to enter competitions across all categories. Visitors walk the grounds to meet neighbors and exhibitors, sample food offerings, and enjoy entertainment in a wholesome atmosphere designed for all ages. The fair originated in 1924 as a vocational school student project and moved to the Lampeter Community grounds in 1949, where it has developed into a major county attraction.
