Triangle Aquatic Center (TAC) is a nonprofit aquatic facility in Cary where visitors train, compete, take lessons, and swim for fitness and recreation. The center features four pools designed to support athletes at every level. TAC operates the TAC TITANS Swim Team, a competitive program that trains swimmers in organized practices and competitions throughout the year. The facility also runs the TITANS Swim Academy, which offers learn-to-swim instruction focused on building confidence, safety, and foundational skills. Beyond competitive swimming, TAC offers lap swimming, fitness programs, and American Red Cross certification courses. The center hosts more than 80 events annually, welcoming hundreds of thousands of athletes, families, and visitors. TAC serves the Triangle area as North Carolina's largest nonprofit public aquatic facility, functioning as both a training destination for serious swimmers and a community wellness center for people pursuing personal fitness goals and water safety skills.
