About The Thomasville History Center

The Thomasville History Center connects Thomas County's past to its present through seven historic buildings filled with exhibits, archival documents, photographs, and artifacts spanning the Red Hills' distinctive heritage. Visitors self-guide through interior exhibits on the three-acre campus, then take a guided tour of all three floors of the Lapham-Patterson House, an 1885 Resort Era cottage featuring original architecture and late-19th-century technology.
