About The Thomasville History Center
The Thomasville History Center is a non-profit museum on a three-acre campus in Thomasville, Georgia, where visitors explore seven historic buildings filled with exhibits about Thomas County's past. The center displays archival documents, photographs, and artifacts spanning the region's history. Guests can tour the Lapham-Patterson House, a historic property available for guided visits. The museum features the Lobby for browsing history-related merchandise. The History Center hosts special events including Crate to Plate, an annual locally inspired meal fundraiser, and the Bicentennial Lunch and Learn lecture series featuring speakers on regional history and achievement. Halloween in the Historic Neighborhood brings trick-or-treating and activities across the grounds. Admission is charged, with tickets available for purchase online and at the facility.
