About The Grace Museum

The Grace Museum operates Spark Science Center at Abilene Heritage Square, providing over 100 interactive experiences across biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, and astronomy. Visitors explore rotating exhibitions and permanent displays at two locations: the main museum in the restored 1909 Hotel Grace building downtown, and Spark Science Center. At the downtown location, guests design on giant light walls, perform on a replica Paramount Theatre stage, play music walls, and visit the Create Lab for puzzles and daily make-and-take activities. The museum offers Grace Studio art classes, including 3D fall painting with acrylic and joint compound, plus free family events like Día de los Muertos celebrations with sugar skull painting and ballet folklorico performances. Tot Spot serves preschoolers, while homeschool art days and camps serve older children. Adults and children alike attend artist talks and creative classes across both locations. The Grace is in Abilene, Texas. Active duty military and their families receive half-price admission to Spark Science Center at $7, as verified at thegracemuseum.org.
