Busy Bees Playhouse Abilene is an indoor play space for children ages 1–6 located on the north side of Abilene. Visitors explore a large indoor sandbox, climbing structures, dramatic play areas, manipulative toys, and a soft play zone designed for younger toddlers. While children play in the supervised environment, parents can relax in a lounge equipped with coffee, comfortable seating, Netflix, and workspace areas, maintaining sight of their child throughout. The facility operates a Mother's Day Out drop-off program for children ages 2–5 on select days, featuring a daily schedule that includes morning music and yoga, circle time, and guided play. Busy Bees Playhouse also hosts birthday parties and baby showers, with the entire space available for private family events. The playhouse functions as a community gathering place where young families can connect while children explore and play in a clean, intentionally designed environment with attentive staff supervision.
