The Desert Fall Festival features The Big Dig, a real excavator attraction where visitors operate heavy equipment to move dirt, included with admission for children ten and under. Across thirteen acres, guests navigate the Desert Pumpkin Maze with color-changing glowing pumpkins, ride a forty-foot zipline, fire apples at retired vehicles with the Apple Cannon Blaster, and skate at the roller rink with included skates. Free line dancing lessons run on weekdays, with live music and entertainment nightly. Food vendors offer tacos, funnel cakes, and specialty cocktails. Children two and under receive free admission. Military personnel with valid ID and up to three dependents qualify for discounted admission at the gate. The festival operates in Surprise, Arizona, at the corner of Greenway and Bullard, with tickets sold online through the venue's website.
