Sunset Walk SlingShot in Kissimmee is an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride where visitors sit in a specially designed seat, buckle up, and experience a volcanic-themed launch. The seat tilts back into simulated smoke and mist before riders are catapulted over 360 feet straight up, accelerating from zero to 100 miles per hour in less than two seconds. At the peak, riders experience a moment of weightlessness before freefalling back toward the ground. Steel cables and a giant spring machine then catch the seat and launch it skyward again, repeating the cycle multiple times. The ride requires a minimum height of 50 inches but has no age limit, as long as riders can safely fit in the seat and fasten the lap belt. Visitors can purchase digital video downloads of their ride and commemorative merchandise at the location.
