Sunset Trail Farm is a family-owned blackberry farm in McKinney that operates a seasonal pumpkin patch and pick-your-own experience. During the pumpkin season, visitors select from many pumpkin varieties, enjoy fall-themed photo opportunities, and pick bouquets of flowers. Included activities with admission are a kid-size hay maze, rubber duck races, pumpkin bowling, a roping pen, a ball pit, cornhole, games, and access to farm animals. Weekend visitors receive one free farm train ride for children, while weekday visitors receive a small pumpkin. Additional paid options include face painting, a pumpkin launcher, pick-your-own flowers in mason jars, shaved ice, and food items such as berry cobbler, kettle corn, blackberry lemonade, soft pretzels, and fruit popsicles. During berry season, the farm offers pick-your-own blackberries by bucket size and seasonally available produce including tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and onions. The farm is a certified Texan By Nature Project focused on regenerative farming practices. Tickets are sold online on the venue's website.
