About Stehly Farms Organics
Stehly Farms Organics is a multi-generational family farm in Valley Center founded in the 1920s and reimagined by brothers Jerome and Noel Stehly in 2002. Visitors can participate in pick-your-own activities, harvesting strawberries and other crops directly from the fields. The farm operates a Community Supported Agriculture program, or CSA, allowing members to purchase seasonal shares of fresh organic produce. The farm maintains a store where visitors can purchase produce and other farm products. Stehly Farms also offers an annual plant sale featuring a selection of plants for gardeners. Additional activities include a free compost workshop for those interested in sustainable gardening practices. The farm provides event space for gatherings and celebrations. A visit suits families and individuals interested in organic agriculture, hands-on harvesting experiences, and supporting local sustainable farming practices in San Diego County's North County region.
