About Skateland West
Skateland West is a roller skating rink in San Antonio where visitors of all ages skate on a lit dance floor with a disco ball and DJ lighting. The rink offers public skating sessions on Sunday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, plus extended Saturday hours. Skate rentals are available in sizes from juvenile 7 to adult 15, and visitors may bring their own roller skates or inline skates. Learn-to-skate lessons run on Saturday afternoons for beginners through advanced skaters. The facility hosts birthday parties with multiple packages and private event rentals for groups. A snack bar serves personal pizzas, all-beef hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, and slushies. An arcade area includes air hockey, foosball, and video games. Operating since 1974, Skateland West is located on SW Loop 410 in San Antonio.
