Purple Planet Creative Space in Newhall offers hands-on arts and crafts activities for walk-in visitors and organized groups. Guests select items from the Makers Wall to paint or embellish, with supplies provided for each project. The Splatter Paint Room features canvas painting with stencils. Classes and workshops teach arts and crafts skills at all levels, covering directed projects and process art that emphasize creative exploration. The venue hosts arts and crafts parties for celebrations and special events. After-school arts and crafts classes run three days weekly at Dixie Canyon Community Charter throughout the school year. A free community stitching group called Santa Clarita Second Saturday Stitchers meets regularly for crafters to gather and create together. The space welcomes visitors on Fridays from noon to five, Saturdays from ten to five, and Sundays from eleven to four.
