About Prescott Western Heritage Center

The Prescott Western Heritage Center preserves and shares the history of Prescott and Yavapai County through exhibits and artifacts located in the historic Sam Hill Hardware store on Whiskey Row. Visitors explore displays of Native American artifacts on loan from the Smoki Museum, memorabilia from the World's Oldest Rodeo including champions and rodeo gear, and fine art representative of treasures at the Phippen Museum of Western Art. The center features a roulette wheel from the Palace Saloon, historical flags, and information about Prescott's rich movie-making past. Exhibits showcase the Arizona Roughriders and a miniature Roughrider Sculpture. The Western Heritage Center operates Wednesday through Saturday with extended summer hours and Sunday afternoons. It sits in downtown Prescott, Arizona.
