About Pioneer Florida Museum & Village

Pioneer Florida Museum & Village occupies a recreated 19th-century settlement one mile north of Dade City off Highway 301 North. Visitors explore historic buildings and exhibits through self-guided tours, or groups of ten or more may arrange guided tours by appointment. The museum operates Tuesday through Saturday with hours published on its website. The village grounds are wheelchair accessible. Attractions include a historic church, schoolhouse, and homestead structures that reflect pioneer-era construction and daily life. Visitors can also see the blacksmith shop and other period buildings demonstrating traditional crafts and trades. A gift shop offers old-fashioned children's toys, commemorative souvenirs including t-shirts, hats and mugs, novelty candies, and Florida-inspired books. No pets are permitted on the grounds.
