Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden in Kernersville is a public garden where visitors explore more than 25 individually styled garden areas displayed across five acres. The Kitchen Garden features raised beds in a Moravian quilt pattern, growing edible crops including corn, peppers, zucchini, heirloom tomatoes, and pomegranates. Additional garden spaces include the Piedmont Woodland, Japanese Garden, Wetland Garden, Conifer Garden, and Children's Learning Garden. The Welcome Center houses a Garden Shop and serves as the hub for visitors. The garden offers educational programs and classes developed through partnerships with Forsyth Technical Community College and Forsyth County Public Schools. An amphitheater and greenhouse support both public programming and community events. Outdoor garden displays are accessible daily from dawn to dusk, making the space suitable for casual visitors, experienced gardeners, researchers, and families interested in plants and horticulture. The garden occupies the only public botanical garden space between Raleigh and Charlotte in the Piedmont Triad region.
