About Paradise Garden Foundation

Paradise Garden Foundation in Summerville, Georgia celebrates the life and work of Howard Finster, a self-taught artist and Baptist minister recognized as one of the most important folk artists of the twentieth century. Visitors explore Finster's fantastical art, which blends religious messages, personal stories, and elements of popular culture. The Pop Culture Gallery features the exhibit Howard Finster: Visions of Coca-Cola, displaying how Finster became an icon of American pop culture through television appearances and connections to popular music artists. The foundation operates a Visitor Center and offers a hand-drawn map to guide guests through the grounds. The site hosts rotating exhibits, including Behind the Brain of a Genius. Groups and school field trips are accommodated with advance notice. Three on-site Airbnbs allow visitors to stay overnight at Paradise Garden. The foundation also hosts private events with rental packages available.
