The Miwuk Museum and Cultural Center in Angels Camp, California preserves and presents the history and culture of the Miwok people through exhibits and collections housed at its location on South Main Street. Visitors explore gallery displays and access the museum's library services, which include a searchable library catalogue. The museum also offers membership, which provides free admission, library access, ten percent off gift shop purchases, invitations to events and workshops, and quarterly copies of The Smoke Signal publication. Children twelve and under receive free admission. Veterans, seniors sixty-five and older, first responders, and students pay ten dollars instead of the regular twelve dollar admission price. The museum operates Tuesday through Saturday from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon.
