The Mel Fisher Maritime Museum in Key West explores the maritime history of Florida and the Caribbean through exhibits and artifacts. Visitors tour galleries displaying the 1622 Fleet, the Henrietta Marie, St. John's Wreck, pirate history, and the Last Slave Ships. Behind-the-scenes Conservation Lab tours are available multiple times daily, offering a closer look at how artifacts are preserved and studied. The museum operates daily, with tickets sold online through the venue's website. Lab tours can be combined with general admission. The museum is located downtown at the corner of Greene and Whitehead Streets, with metered and municipal parking nearby. Certified service animals are welcome.
