Mansfield Art Center in Mansfield, Ohio hosts exhibitions of artwork in multiple galleries featuring both local and nationally recognized artists. Visitors explore two floors of open gallery space within a distinctive modernist building designed by architect Don Hisaka and completed in 1971. The center features the Elizabeth T. Black and Foundation Galleries, which showcase rotating exhibitions such as CrowFest, celebrating the seasonal migration of thousands of crows to the surrounding forest with crow-inspired artwork in various media. The Education Wing offers instruction in glassblowing, stained glass, drawing, painting, ceramics, silk painting, jewelry making, printmaking, fiber arts, rug tufting, 3D printing, and design technology in state-of-the-art studios. The building includes a wood-hewn atrium, Gallery Shop highlighting handcrafted work by local artists, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and benches throughout. The center charges admission for exhibitions and publishes its hours online. Children seventeen and under receive free admission.
