About International Conservation Center

International Conservation Center is a 724-acre research and conservation facility in Fairhope, Pennsylvania, where visitors encounter African elephants, bison, and Bactrian camels across rolling terrain. The center opens to the public for special events and scheduled appointments throughout the month, offering venue tours, educational programming, overnight family camps, summer camps for children, adult retreats, and dinners. Expert educators lead activities that focus on animal care and conservation science. The facility's elephant breeding herd contributes significantly to species preservation, while the bison program aims to produce animals for introduction to indigenous territories across the United States. Over half the grounds remain untouched to support native wildlife, grasses, and wildflowers. Visitors learn how the resident animals help tell stories of survival and conservation while contributing to the preservation of their wild counterparts through partnerships including the International Elephant Foundation and Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust.
