The Indian Hill Historical Society preserves the heritage of the Village of Indian Hill through two historical landmarks: the Bonnell House, also known as Buckingham Lodge, and the Little Red Schoolhouse, a village landmark since 1873. Visitors explore archives and artifacts of village history maintained at Buckingham Lodge. The Little Red Schoolhouse hosts the annual One-Room Schoolhouse Experience, where fourth graders experience education as it was in the late 1800s. The Society presents programs on building and home architecture, art, local history, and noteworthy families of the area. Regular events include dinner programs, slide shows, travel talks, and musical and theatrical presentations. The Schoolhouse also serves as a community gathering space available for special events and meetings. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Indian Hill Historical Society welcomes those interested in regional history and village heritage.
