Image Doctor's Camera Museum in McDonough documents the evolution of photography from the 1830s through the 1990s. Visitors explore hundreds of exhibit items including over three thousand cameras, accessories, vintage photographs, advertisements, and related books. The museum operates as a learning institution where guests can take guided tours through the main level, which is ADA compliant. The facility offers photography classes and workshops covering topics such as beginner digital photography, shooting RAW with Lightroom, Photoshop basic tools, mountain waters, and seascapes. The museum also hosts evening events including Escape the Museum Game and additional photography instruction. Groups can reserve the space for private events and business meetings of up to thirty people. Located on Macon Street less than a mile south of McDonough Square, the museum provides thirty free parking spaces.
