Historic Botanical Gardens at Texas Woman's University in Denton showcases the achievements and contributions of pioneering women through multiple interactive exhibits. Visitors explore the Sue S. Bancroft Women's Leadership Hall, featuring four main exhibit areas: Pioneering Women, Historic Elections, the Civic Learning Center, and a display on Minnie Fisher Cunningham, the Texas suffragist, complete with video portrayal by an actor. The grand entrance displays a replica of Winged Victory of Samothrace, originally delivered from the Louvre in Paris. Additional attractions include the Texas Women's Hall of Fame on the second floor of Blagg-Huey Library, presenting biographies and photographs of over 100 pioneering women including Sandra Day O'Connor, former Governor Ann Richards, Simone Biles, and Selena Quintanilla. The Texas First Ladies Historic Costume collection on the second floor of the Administration Conference Tower displays rotating gowns from 47 first ladies of the Republic of Texas, the state, and the United States. These exhibits suit visitors interested in Texas women's history and leadership.
Historic Botanical Gardens publishes its own offers, and when twu.edu was last read, on , there was none.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
