About Grippen Community Park

Grippen Community Park features a recreational building originally constructed as a community ice rink in 1972, now serving as a multipurpose indoor sports facility on Grippen Avenue in Endicott. Visitors to this 14-acre park can play pickleball on five indoor courts available on a first-come, first-serve basis, or use outdoor facilities including a flag football field, basketball courts, wiffleball area, and walking track. The park provides access to the Susquehanna River via a New York State DEC boat launch with a float-off ramp. A seasonal ice rink operates during winter months. Picnic areas throughout the grounds include tables, grills, and water fountains for visitor convenience. Shelter rentals accommodate large gatherings. General admission is free, and the park remains open from morning until dusk throughout the year.
