About Gold Mine Experience World of Music
Gold Mine Experience World of Music operates the mine interior at Bloo Nelly, where visitors tour a 65-degree authentic gold mine descending over 1000 feet into documented mining tunnels with original heavy timber structures, rock formations, and visible gold veins. The site sits on 187 acres with 10 patented mines and more than 120 historic structures dating to 1903. Daily mine tours from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. last approximately 30 minutes, while the Bloo Tunnel II excursion runs about four hours and includes mining tailings in designated areas with provided helmets, gloves, and eye protection. Visitors pan for gold in trays, on sluices, or in the panning creek, keeping whatever they find. The property includes a rock crusher, clean restrooms, and a store; live entertainment and karaoke occur on weekends. Admission costs ten dollars per person, with children under five admitted free. The site lies ten miles east of Wickenburg, Arizona, accessible by paved and maintained dirt road.
