Empire Mine State Historic Park in Grass Valley preserves one of California's oldest, deepest, and richest gold mines. Visitors explore preserved historic buildings including the former owner's home and gardens, the mine entrance, and a visitor center with interpretive exhibits and museums documenting the site's mining heritage. Guided tours and interpretive programs provide detailed accounts of the property's history. The park features picnic areas throughout the grounds, restrooms, and drinking water for day-use visitors. Dogs are welcome on roads and trails and within the visitor center and historic grounds, though they cannot enter historic buildings or mine shafts. Park trails and parking areas are accessible from sunrise to sunset, while the historic grounds operate on seasonal schedules. An EV charger and e-bike locations serve visitors with electric vehicles or bicycles.
We check this attraction’s own website for offers. The last time we read parks.ca.gov, on , there was no offer on it that we could verify.
The page stays here because the attraction is still worth knowing about, and because we keep checking. If a deal appears on their site, it appears here.
