About El Paso Holocaust Museum & Study Center

El Paso Holocaust Museum & Study Center, located in downtown El Paso's museum district, teaches the history of the Holocaust to combat prejudice and intolerance through education, community outreach, and cultural activities. The museum is the only fully bilingual Holocaust museum and one of only thirteen free-standing Holocaust museums in the United States. Visitors experience the permanent exhibition Dimensions in Testimony, developed by the USC Shoah Foundation, which offers a conversational experience with Holocaust testimonies. The museum maintains a substantial video archive of stories from local El Paso residents who survived the Holocaust. General admission is free. The facility hosts community events and educational programs designed to promote understanding and justice. The museum welcomes visitors interested in learning about this critical period in history and exploring how education can counter hatred and intolerance.
