About Digital Wall

Digital Wall is an interactive display at the El Paso Museum of History that lets visitors explore the region's history through touchscreen technology. It is one of only four such walls worldwide and the only one in the United States. Visitors use the wall to navigate through more than 1,000 years of border region history, examining artifacts, documents, images, and personal stories from the museum's collection of more than 10,000 items. The current community-curated exhibit, "Neighborhoods & Shared Memories: Austin Terrace," focuses on the Central El Paso neighborhood from the 1910s through the 1970s, showcasing items borrowed from families and schools while exploring the area's diverse architecture and institutions like Loretto Academy and the Radford School. The museum, located in El Paso's Downtown Arts District, serves families and history enthusiasts interested in understanding the multicultural and multinational heritage of this major border metroplex in El Paso, Texas.
