Dezert Adventures is a family-owned ATV rental and guided tour operation serving the Ocotillo area for over twenty years. Visitors ride all-terrain vehicles across desert terrain, with options for guided tours or independent rentals. The company offers three ATV models: a 90cc Honda TRX250EX quad designed for beginners ages eight through twelve with fully automatic transmission, a 250cc Honda TRX250EX with five-speed semi-automatic transmission for riders with some experience, and a 400cc Honda 400EX with fully manual transmission reserved for experienced riders only. All rentals include fully gassed ATVs, helmets, goggles, and gloves for safety. Backpacks and two cold waters are available upon request. Rental sessions range from two hours to full-day and weekend options. Guided tours are also available for those preferring instruction. Visitors must wear pants and long socks, and closed-toed shoes are required. Dezert Adventures operates in Ocotillo, California, approximately ninety miles east of downtown San Diego off Interstate 8.
